By registering for an account, accessing TofuDB interfaces, deploying database instances, or using automated API SDKs, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable global operational regulations.
If you are accepting these terms on behalf of an organization, business entity, or company, you represent and warrant that you possess full legal authority to bind that entity to this agreement.
User Accounts & Security
Accessing TofuDB project management features requires registering an authenticated user account. You are responsible for ensuring that all credentials and secret API tokens associated with your account are securely guarded.
Account Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate, verifiable registration contact details.
- Safeguard workspace access keys and API query secrets against disclosure.
- Immediately report any unauthorized activity or credential compromise.
Data Ownership & Privacy
You retain 100% full intellectual property rights and absolute ownership over all database schemas, table definitions, uploaded datasets, and record entries.
TofuDB does not claim any ownership rights over your project data. Our processing engines interact with your data solely to execute requested queries, generate schema proposals, and provide database service capabilities.
Your data is never sold, shared with third-party advertisers, or used to train external public foundation models without your explicit consent.
Acceptable Use Policy
To maintain system reliability and prevent infrastructure abuse, all users must adhere to our acceptable usage guidelines when running queries or storing data.
Prohibited Activities:
- Injecting malicious SQL payloads or attempting to bypass query rate limits.
- Conducting denial-of-service (DoS) attacks or automated scraping against cluster nodes.
- Storing or distributing illegal, infringing, or harmful material.
- Reverse engineering underlying database runtime binaries or platform engines.
Limitation of Liability
TofuDB provides services on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive to maintain high service availability, TofuDB and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from lost profits, service downtime, or data loss.
Modifications & Termination
We reserve the right to revise these terms to reflect changes in legal requirements or platform updates. Material changes will be communicated via dashboard alerts or email notifications.
You may close your account at any time. Upon account termination, your datasets and project instances will be permanently removed in accordance with our data retention schedule.
